DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

Scripture Therapy® Center, Inc.’s leadership accepts the Holy Scriptures as the Word and will of God; the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining unity, and adopts the following statement of fundamental truth

1.

The Bible is God’s perfect guidebook for living. It is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. The Word of God addresses
all matters. It is divinely given by God the Father to man; -2 Timothy: 3:16-17.

2.

The Word of God consists of all the Old and New Testaments.

3.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His Virgin Birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide redemption,
resurrection, bodily ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power
and glory.

4.

Man was created in the image and likeness of God, and because of sin was alienated from God—that alienation can be removed only by accepting, through faith, God’s given salvation,

For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in your own heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. -Romans 10:9, TLB

This was made possible by Christ’s atoning death and resurrection.

5.

Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world, and to disciple men and women
of every nation. -Matthew 28:18-20. The fulfillment of that Great Commission requires all worldly and personal ambitions be subordinate to a total commitment to “Him who loved us and gave Himself for us.”

6.

Nothing in creation just happens, God made it all–Miracles still happen, and Jesus is still performing them today.

7.

Death is the beginning not the end and knowing that through the Holy Spirit, God lives in and through us, and offers
a relationship with Him through faith and grace by confession with our mouth and believe in our heart, that Jesus
is the Son of God.

8.

Believe in the water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit so that we will receive power to be a credible witness
of the Lord Jesus Christ. -Acts 1:8.

9.

Heaven and Hell are real places; God allows evil to provide us a choice, and can bring good, even out of evil. God promises victory over evil to those who choose Him.

10.

God wants us to have a full life, free from poverty, sickness, and diseases.

11.

Clergies, leaders, counselors, and members are to serve people, as Jesus serves the people.

12.

“But there is one matter I want to remind you about: that a wife is responsible to her husband, her husband is responsible to Christ, and Christ is responsible to God.-1 Cor. 11:3, TLB. Based on this information, we believe that  woman are not inferior to man, but are subject to man as Christ is subject to the Father, and The Holy Spirit is subject to Christ.
